![]() ![]() Hell/ the underworld is just not my thing but this version was very imaginative.Īttachment: Like I said hell/ the underworld it not my thing. Then of course they forgot their rule and nearly did the forbidden thing twice. Also there were a lot of poor choices made by the characters. It’s hard to worry for the characters when you know the outcome. There were a few lines that might have made me smile but that’s all. They’re fun but only one plays a constant roll in the story.įeels: ★ Sorry, no feels. Supporting: Nearly all the supporting characters are new as Mulan and Shang are the only ones that go to the underworld. Main: I felt like the author stayed true to the Mulan character that we’re familiar with while still adding depth and growth. There were a few times in the action scenes I couldn’t really picture what was happening. Shang is hurt really bad and is going to die so Mulan must go to the underworld to save him. You are dropped into that scene and things are moving. So it would be best if you have seen the movie, there is really no set up. Story: ★★★ The story starts on the mountain scene where they are fighting the Huns where Mulan takes the rocket fires it at the snow and causes an avalanche. ![]() There are also some nice tie-ins that you get once you’ve read the story. And for once it doesn’t focus on the villain. ![]()
